Acne Treatments
Traditional standard creams or oral treatments for acne take three to four months of continuous treatment with the possibility of a range of
unwanted side effects. The use of impulse light and/or laser dramatically reduces the treatment period. There are virtually no side effects, no pain and no 'downtime'. Rapid visible results are achieved with minimum effort and the use of such non-invasive treatments enables us to offer this procedure for all areas of the body.
It is of course essential that you have a consultation with our Consultant Dermatologist or Aesthetic Doctor prior to commencing any treatment and at that stage he will advise you of how many treatments you will require and how long each treatment will take
for the area in questions.
Treatment for Leg Veins
Our VascuLightT system is equipped with 2 different light technologies to deal with both spider veins near the skin's surface and the larger, deeper varicose veins. In some cases, a combination of the intense pulse light and the laser may be required to achieve the best results.
Prior to and following these treatments you must limit exposure to the sun; treatment should not be performed on tanned skin.
A minimum of two treatments are usually required, spaced approximately one month apart. However, if the veins are very numerous then further treatments will be necessary over several months.

Veinwave
This removal technique can also deal with spider veins and thread veins, which can become apparent as the years roll on. These veins are very close to the skin surface so therefore a needle easily reaches them. The Veinwave technique uses a micro-fine heated needle and through a system called thermo-coagulation, the vein will disappear within approximately 24 hours. Basically there is very very little pain when the needle is being inserted and any redness will subside within the 24 hour period, as the heat from the needle will make the vein shrivel.
